{ MEET YOUR HOSTS }

We can’t wait to get to know you. Welcome.

SHARI L FOX

A retreat is a way to call our energy back to ourselves. It’s a spiritual matter to me.

The one thing I notice everywhere is how hard we’re all trying. in so much efforting and tension we lose our vital life force. we need plug in, go deep, and honor our inner life. I go on retreat to remember who I am.

Thriving on heart-warming experiences and honest conversations, Shari is the founder of Soul Nourish Institute. At retreats, workshops, and one-on-one work around the world she witnesses self-aware women and men waking up to their innate strength, grace, and peace.

Shari focuses on igniting transformative inner work. She fuses yoga, meditation and energy techniques with a cutting-edge understanding of personality theory and psyche development. Specializing in a yogic tradition that nourishes the body-mind, Shari leads soothing, presencing meditations and deeply freeing guided relaxation. Her teaching style flows with energy, awareness, and grace.

A student and teacher of the Enneagram—a dynamic system of integrated psychology and spirituality—Shari weaves soul work with daily life. Trained by the Riso Hudson Enneagram Institute, she creates spaces to experience the power of this applied knowledge live and in-person. She is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher under the tutelage of Tim Miller, the Yandara Yoga Institute, and other world-class yoga and meditation teachers, and serves as guest faculty at yoga teacher trainings.

She wakes up daily to a cup of hot coffee, an inner work journal and a healthy dose of sunshine. Shari gets particularly jazzed about creating the platforms, tools and support we need in human transformation and spiritual movement. She works best with a superfood smoothie and a view of nature.

MANDY ROBERTS

The greatest gift you can give to the world is the gift of your own wholeness. There is no need to be a yoga expert, or even to have a regular yoga practice, all you need is the willingness to say yes to yourself.

I retreat for connection, friendships and memories that will last a lifetime.

Always a student, Mandy has studied Pranic Healing with Master Stephen Co and has studied yoga with many accomplished national and international teachers from various schools of yoga. Mandy holds a 200hr level Yoga Alliance Certification through Springs Yoga, and Mitchel Bleier Yoga. More recently Mandy is honored to be recognized as a Lululemon Athletica ambassador in Atlanta and represented the southeast at the 2015 Lululemon Ambassador Summit in Whistler, BC. JOHN LUCKOVICH

Retreats help orient oneself on a spiritual path, teach us to not be taken by our historical reactions and enable us to continue the work more effectively on our own after our time together ends.

to me it’s important to come to retreat with a collectedness of intention and create the possibility of seeing beyond our conditioning.

John has been involved in studies of the Enneagram, The Fourth Way, and inner work and practice for over ten years, and is completing teaching certification with the Enneagram Institute. His interests have led to a deep involvement in Gurdjieff Work in the lineage of J.G. Bennett, The Gurdjieff Movements, Jungian group work, and meditation practice. He is an apprentice psycho-spiritual facilitator in Integrative Breathwork through the Inspiration Consciousness School in Baltimore, MD, where he has been studying for five years. John has taught numerous Enneagram workshops and classes in the United States and Italy for children, teens, and adults, and has been a presenter at the Conference of the International Enneagram Association and Shift Network’s Enneagram Global Summit.

Art, specifically painting, is John’s life long passion—particularly as the work of art and artistic process bridges to deeper levels of the soul. He draws inspiration primarily from personal mythology, ancient Egypt and dreams.

In both art and inner work, John’s aim has always been to establish a link between daily life and currents of understanding far above and below ordinary experience.

Born in New Orleans, he grew up in Atlanta and loves a good dance party. Shortly after meeting his wife Ilaria at an Enneagram training in Italy, he invited her to the States and married her. They live together in Brooklyn, New York.

SCOTT FEINBERG

Retreat is a time dedicated to stepping away from the hurriedness of life and finding clarity and rejuvenation. It is also a time of deepening our spiritual practice and connecting with others along the path.

I take retreat as an essential aspect of my practice— within them I have found both insight and inspiration. Being on retreat offers us a safe and supportive climate for transformation and healing to occur.

Note to Self. I love you. Despite whatever you may be feeling right now, you are not incomplete. You are, within yourself, fully alive. Every decision you have made has been from love and from the highest consciousness available to you at the time. Life will not always be easy. You will experience loss, despair, sorrow, grief, guilt, anger, depletion, sadness and shame. You will experience joy, courage, resiliency, ease, fortitude, abundance, peace, love, and swagger. Sometimes, most times, you will have any combination of these feelings at the same time. This is the journey. Be on your own team. Be a bold enough spirit not to simply transcend all of it but to embrace all of it. Yes, it’s true, you are not your emotions but there is no spiritual bypass surgery. You are here, an infinite soul, experiencing life as a human being. This is your dharma. No one person gives you validity or your light. You are self luminous. You don’t need another to feel whole. But when you realize your innate wholeness, you may share your light & life with another who is equally & inherently so. The way this looks may not unfold to your personal preference. But in the end, this is about living a full life, your life. Risk pain for the chance to deeply and authentically love & be loved. Risk being judged. Risk being weird. Have the strength to be vulnerable. Be down when you’re down but when it’s time, pick yourself up by the bootstraps and reclaim your mojo. You got this.

Jan’s highest excitement is that of creation expressing itself to its fullest potential. In service of bringing more of this into the world, he is a holistic health coach, creator of evolutionary retreat and adventure experiences and consultant for businesses and land-based projects that seek to reintegrate humanity with planet Earth into a mutually beneficial and sustainable relationship.

Jan lived an amazing childhood on a remote coastal ranch in the middle of a desert wilderness on Mexico’s Baja California Peninsula. The only way out was by sailboat, and there was no electricity, or neighbors. The great desert and sea stretched out forever and formed the limits of his universe. He credits this unique upbringing with launching him into a lifelong journey into greater self-awareness and a mission of harmonizing humanity’s relationship with the Earth. He counts among his principal influences for Self-work the Yoga of Paramahansa Yogananda, Tantric and Taoist philosophy, and modern empowerment teachers. His path is influenced by the ancestral nutritional wisdom of Nourishing Traditions as taught by the Weston A. Price Foundation, the movement science and physical body preparation of Hatha Yoga, gymnastics, and many contemporary functional movement masters such as Ido Portal. Jan earned a B.A. in Environmental Science from the Wilkes Honors College of Florida Atlantic University, is a Certified Permaculture Designer through the Permaculture Research Institute of Australia, and holds Diplomas in Holistic Management and the Regrarians Platform®.

If he’s not helping to create regenerative farming enterprises, designing sustainable communities or leading educational and transformational events in Mexico, California, or Florida, Jan’s probably somewhere surfing big waves or off sailing someone’s yacht across the ocean in practice for fulfilling his goal of circumnavigating the planet by sailboat.

Meet Jan as our dedicated guide to his beautiful homeland, Baja Mexico, and leading our adventures into connection at the Todos Santos Soul Vacation.
