{ MEET YOUR HOSTS }

We can’t wait to get to know you. Welcome.

SHARI L FOX

A retreat is a way to call our energy back to ourselves. It’s a spiritual matter to me.

The one thing I notice everywhere is how hard we’re all trying. in so much efforting and tension we lose our vital life force. we need plug in, go deep, and honor our inner life. I go on retreat to remember who I am.

Thriving on heart-warming experiences and honest conversations, Shari is the founder of Soul Nourish Institute. At retreats, workshops, and one-on-one work around the world she witnesses self-aware women and men waking up to their innate strength, grace, and peace.

Shari focuses on igniting transformative inner work. She fuses yoga, meditation and energy techniques with a cutting-edge understanding of personality theory and psyche development. Specializing in a yogic tradition that nourishes the body-mind, Shari leads soothing, presencing meditations and deeply freeing guided relaxation. Her teaching style flows with energy, awareness, and grace.

A student and teacher of the Enneagram—a dynamic system of integrated psychology and spirituality—Shari weaves soul work with daily life. Trained by the Riso Hudson Enneagram Institute, she creates spaces to experience the power of this applied knowledge live and in-person. She is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher under the tutelage of Tim Miller, the Yandara Yoga Institute, and other world-class yoga and meditation teachers, and serves as guest faculty at yoga teacher trainings.

She wakes up daily to a cup of hot coffee, an inner work journal and a healthy dose of sunshine. Shari gets particularly jazzed about creating the platforms, tools and support we need in human transformation and spiritual movement. She works best with a superfood smoothie and a view of nature.

MANDY ROBERTS

The greatest gift you can give to the world is the gift of your own wholeness. There is no need to be a yoga expert, or even to have a regular yoga practice, all you need is the willingness to say yes to yourself.

I retreat for connection, friendships and memories that will last a lifetime.

As a Certified Integral Coach® and an Enneagram teacher, April views her calling as one of facilitating or “midwifing” the emergence of individuals’ soul potential. She created Your Singular PathSM with a focus on the wisdom of the individual, facilitated by Presence, as the catalyst for transformation in real life. She loves to bridge gaps between theory and application, universal and personal, sacred and mundane, individual and collective.

“It’s not what you know; it’s who you are.” These words from James, April’s teacher and the creator of Integral Coaching®, have become her touchstone for everything she does, whether teaching, coaching, or being in community. She’s experienced over and over that when she goes deep, others are nourished by something more powerful than words. This something is Presence — our own presence, the presence of another, the Presence that pervades all of creation. Presence is the balm that heals us and the sunshine that gently unfolds us into the full flower of who we can be.

April’s formal training includes certification in the Integral Coaching® program of New Ventures West, and more than 560 contact hours in Enneagram training by faculty of the Enneagram Institute. What people comment on most often about April’s facilitation is a strong sense of permission to be themselves – warts and all – and to believe in themselves… not by cheerleading but by being in her own authentic presence, a result of bridging many gaps in her own life and living fiercely and compassionately in her own path.

Coaching and teaching as Your Singular Path in Cary, North Carolina, April loves long talks with her husband, taking in sci-fi and comedy, walking in the sunshine, and watching ducks.

At first, we take a big step just to make soul work be one part of our lives. Over time, a shift naturally occurs so that everything in our lives becomes part of our soul work. This shift creates a profound change in the way we experience our world. The processes of integration and inclusion — soul work in everything and everything in soul work – for me these processes hold a lot of love.

Jan’s highest excitement is that of creation expressing itself to its fullest potential. In service of bringing more of this into the world, he is a holistic health coach, creator of evolutionary retreat and adventure experiences and consultant for businesses and land-based projects that seek to reintegrate humanity with planet Earth into a mutually beneficial and sustainable relationship.

Jan lived an amazing childhood on a remote coastal ranch in the middle of a desert wilderness on Mexico’s Baja California Peninsula. The only way out was by sailboat, and there was no electricity, or neighbors. The great desert and sea stretched out forever and formed the limits of his universe. He credits this unique upbringing with launching him into a lifelong journey into greater self-awareness and a mission of harmonizing humanity’s relationship with the Earth. He counts among his principal influences for Self-work the Yoga of Paramahansa Yogananda, Tantric and Taoist philosophy, and modern empowerment teachers. His path is influenced by the ancestral nutritional wisdom of Nourishing Traditions as taught by the Weston A. Price Foundation, the movement science and physical body preparation of Hatha Yoga, gymnastics, and many contemporary functional movement masters such as Ido Portal. Jan earned a B.A. in Environmental Science from the Wilkes Honors College of Florida Atlantic University, is a Certified Permaculture Designer through the Permaculture Research Institute of Australia, and holds Diplomas in Holistic Management and the Regrarians Platform®.

If he’s not helping to create regenerative farming enterprises, designing sustainable communities or leading educational and transformational events in Mexico, California, or Florida, Jan’s probably somewhere surfing big waves or off sailing someone’s yacht across the ocean in practice for fulfilling his goal of circumnavigating the planet by sailboat.

Meet Jan as our dedicated guide to his beautiful homeland, Baja Mexico, and leading our adventures into connection at the Todos Santos Soul Vacation.
